CERTIFICATION OF EXCELLENCE:

Participants will get certificate from RFRAC Lucknow with GRADE obtained in qualifying examination. It will be issued after qualifying written exam [Participants have to qualify the examination if they do not qualify they have to pay Rs. 500/only for each attempt]. They will get maximum three attempts.

A. Research & Development Project:
During 2015-16 one Research & Development Project  currently running on entitled "The Technology for the development of utilization of paneer whey/plant proteins for manufacturing of nutraceutical/functional food products to combat micronutrient deficiencies in human" under the state government food processing industry policy-2012 for two year duration.
B. Empanelled as Consultant with SFAC,GoI,New Delhi:
Empanelled as consultant in the area of food processing, horticulture, agriculture,dairy and other allied sector as per the SFAC organisation.

            A Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), consisting of distinguished experts in the area, also advises it on technical issues. RFRAC caters to the analytical needs of different Government agencies, statutory bodies, MNC’s, Corporate houses, Academic Institutions, different Food Industries including Exporters, Importers and Traders as well as Consumers.

Quality Assurance & Quality control
           RFRAC has established an internal quality assurance & quality control programme, which ensures the integrity & reliability of analysis carried out by it. The well established quality control programme includes analysis of procedural blanks, duplicates, spiked & blind samples, use of standard reference material, and control & calibration of instruments on a routine basis.
Methodology used

           RFRAC    uses validated methods of analysis recommended internationally by AOAC, APHA, USDA, FDA, ISO, Codex and FAO. It also uses standard national methods of BIS, FSSAI, PFA, FPO, AGMARK etc.

R-FRAC A Centre of Excellence is public charitable organization established vide G.O.No.-322/58-2-2002-100(118) 2000 Dated – 05-05-2002 by Govt. of U.P. is registered under society of registration act 1860 to provide consultancy on implementation of food/allied processing and preservation industry in UP  apart from providing quality testing facility for various food, food products, water etc. . The organization is working since October 2004.
                 R-FRAC is also declared as centre of excellence in Food safety, testing, consultancy as well as HRD purposes by the state Govt. vide their letter No.163/58-2-2014-100(1)/2014 Food Processing/Lucknow: dated 18.03.2014 followed by state Govt. vide their letter No.20/2015/58-2-2015-100(1)/2014 Food Processing/Lucknow:  Dated 07.05.2015 at the level of Chief Secretary, GouP. This lab is well equipped with all latest equipments and tests are being done by highly qualified scientists.
                 We are having a pool of experts/technocrat/financial adviser/Chartered engineers (mechanical/civil)/subject specialist in the area of agriculture/horticulture/dairy/others sectors for the benefit of farmers/entrepreneurs. 

                 RFRAC is multidisciplinary and knowledge resource centre. We are also have a pool of PG Diploma Food Safety expert pass out from IGNOU (RFRAC as Regional Centre, UP) for IGNOU. We offer our experts for Mega Food Park developmental projects, cold chain infrastructure undertaken by your esteemed organization and can provide Human resource,HRD,Skill development training, Food safety Implementation training, Hygiene & sanitation Training to Food Park workers engaged in food manufacturing and in contact with food stuff. As per Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Plan is mandatory in FSSAI Act, RFRAC is a designated nodal agency in UP for it.
